About
The reasons for our success are that we offer fun and adventure with the opportunity to try lots of exciting new activities.
Whether you're a Beaver Scout, Cub Scout , Scout, Explorer Scout or a member of the Scout Network (18 - 25) there's an adventure waiting for you. All sections are open to girls & boys with 40 per cent of our new recruits being female.
Each week we meet for an evening's activities where we learn new skills, play games, meet our friends, make new friends and have a great time. So check us out and get ready to join the adventure.
Scouts help children and young adults reach their full potential. Scouts develop skills including teamwork, time management, leadership, initiative, planning, communication, self-motivation, cultural awareness and commitment. We help young people to get jobs, save lives and even change the world.
Adventure is at the heart of everything we do. It is the single most important thing that sets Scouts apart.
It's exciting being involved with us. We believe that through the everyday adventure of Scouting, young people and adult volunteers regularly experience new challenges that enrich their lives and meet new lifelong friends.
The Scout Association is committed to being inclusive of all young people, regardless of sex, ability or disability and has a clear Equal Opportunities Policy
